About Me
My name is Li Yang Hsu – an infectious diseases physician based in Singapore, working at the National University of Singapore. I had spent the past decade researching on and managing patients with multidrug-resistant bacterial as well as invasive fungal infections prior to trying out private practice in 2014. I currently hold the following positions:
- Programme leader of the Infectious Diseases Programme at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health
- Associate Director of the Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering (SCELSE) at NUS
I used to play chess competitively in my youth, but this is now only a recreational hobby.
This blog is primarily a place to collect some thoughts and views on infectious diseases, particularly those that afflict my corner of the world. These are personal and do not reflect the views of any of the organisations I work for.
Any means to search your delightfully entertaining blog other than by brute review?
Trying to find your comments on a trending topic that even warranted (sorry) Senator Warren to comment
(Elizabeth Warren, J.D. N Engl J Med 2016; 375:401-403 August 4, 2016) which may indirectly influence MOH policy
regarding public release/sharing of data

I will see if there’s a better way to permit searching on the site, but I have very rudimentary skills when it comes to WordPress and blogging!
