Courage Fund Infectious Disease Conference, Singapore, March 11-13, 2015
Just a plug for the Courage Fund Conference, which will be held at the Marina Mandarin Hotel in Singapore from 11th to 13th March this year. The conference website is here.
Disclaimer: I am a member of the organising committee.
This infectious diseases conference will have renowned speakers from around the world, and is unique in that there will be no pharmaceutical sponsorship. Instead, the main sponsor is the Courage Fund – which was initially set up in 2003 as fund-raising effort to provide relief to healthcare works involved in and victims of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) epidemic that year, but which now supports charitable and educational purposes for healthcare workers and those in the wider Singapore community that are affected by infectious diseases.
The range of topics discussed will be wide, and includes hot-button topics like genomics and human challenge studies.
