Books Read (September 2016)
A depressing month book-wise. Only managed to read two fiction books. Read too much on Zika.
Death’s End is the conclusion to the “Remembrance of Earth’s Past” trilogy by Chinese science fiction author Liu Cixin. I could only read the English-translated version, but it was nonetheless mindblowing. The final book takes the “dark forest” concept of the universe to new horizons, but never loses the humanity inherent to the story. I am in no position to comment on the physics described. Definitely one of the greatest science fiction series ever written.
Young adult fantasy series centering on a young heroine who’s part fae, former assassin, long-lost heir to a kingdom, wields mighty magics, has an ancient fae lover who’s not a vampire but still manages to bite her neck. Penultimate book in the series. Enough said…
