Second last plug for our essay and video contest, jointly organised by the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, funded by many generous donors to our Antibiotics Awareness Fund. Details and replies to some queries below:

AMRV-1

  • Any original video 3 minutes or shorter, on the above theme.
  • Group participation welcome – all members need not be from the same school.
  • Closing date of submission – 30th September 2017, 2359H.
  • Videos should be uploaded to YouTube, with the video URL and an accompanying caption sent via email to mdchly@nus.edu.sg and idsg50feedback@gmail.com.
  • Prizes:
    • Polytechnics and JCs: $2,000 first prize, $1,000 second prize, and 2 merit prizes of $500 each.
    • Secondary schools: $1,000 first prize, $500 second prize, and 2 merit prizes of $250 each.

PAW-1

  • Any English essay on the above theme, up to 1,500 words (the “essay” can be non-fiction or fiction, and in the form of prose or verse.
  • Only one essay per participant.
  • Closing date of submission – 30th August 2017, 2359H.
  • Submissions in the form of a Word or PDF document emailed to mdchly@nus.edu.sg and idsg50feedback@gmail.com
  • Prizes:
    • Polytechnics and JCs: $500 first prize, $250 second prize, and 2 merit prizes of $150 each.
    • Secondary schools: $500 first prize, $250 second prize, and 2 merit prizes of $150 each.
